FACULTY & STAFF

Members of our community are expected to demonstrate a love for children and a passion for their profession. Colleagues maintain a high standard of interpersonal interactions, professionalism and character- realizing that, in their positions as role models, children learn valuable life lessons from them every day.

All of our faculty and staff have degrees in their area of expertise. Our Preschool teachers all have degrees in early childhood development, as well as teaching experience that directly correlates with their current assignments. Teachers in Kindergarten through Grade 8 have four-year degrees in the fields of education, childhood development, and/or their particular specialty (e.g. English, history, art, music, environmental science). Most faculty and staff hold advanced degrees and Illinois certification. Faculty and staff take part regularly in a variety of professional development opportunities such as conferences, seminars, and Internet presentations to stay abreast of best practices in education. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to present workshops internally as well as at professional conferences on a regular basis. Employees are certified in CPR/First Aid and have undergone background checks. Without exception, our faculty and staff are individuals who express integrity and kindness on and off campus.
